This summer, Pop-Ins will be offering one to two week camps each month, with each camp designed around a fun and engaging theme. To enhance the experience, every camp will include at least two exciting field trips that align with the theme, and as always, many trips to new and exciting parks, splashpads and Swimming Pools across the city.

As we did last year, the children will be divided into two groups based on their age. Group One (Pandas) for children ages 5-7 and Group Two (Tigers) for children ages 7-12 depending on maturity.
Please specify which group you would like your 7 year old to be in if you have a preference.
Each group will have tailored activities and field trips to ensure an engaging and fun experience. Field Trips are subject to change for weather related reasons.

The Garden

This week, we’ll kick off our School Age Garden Project and dive into the process of “Garden to Table.” With exciting field trips, the children will learn about gardening concepts and begin planning and creating our very own garden here at camp.

Dino Week

This week is going to be taking us back in time! We’ll dive into the amazing world of dinosaurs with exciting field trips, scavenger hunts, a screening of the classic movie Jurassic Park (older children) and Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur (younger children) and tons of fun activities. Get ready for a week of exploration and adventure as we uncover the secrets of the Dino world!

Denver Nature and Science Museum, Kids Dig and Ralston Central Park/Splash Pad

STEM

This week at camp, our campers and teachers are diving into the exciting world of STEM! They’ll be using their creativity to build, experiment, and discover how science and math come together to create amazing things. Get ready for a week of fun, exploration, and hands-on learning!

Field trips: Children’s Museum Denver, MAD SCIENCE, CSU Spur Clement Park Splashpad, Weaver Hollow Pool

Artist Week

Let’s let our imagination run wild and bring out our inner Artist exploring everything from painting to photography. Get ready for a week full of creativity and fun!

Wolf, My Art Workshop, Lair o’ the Bear Park with photography fun, Civic Green Park and Splashpad

America’s 250th Birthday

This week is going to be all about Red, White and Blue! Let’s celebrate America’s 250th Birthday.We will be having a July 4 barbeque in the back yard complete with s’mores, games and water balloons.

Animal Lovers

Did you say ANIMALS? Get ready, kiddos! This week at camp, you’ll be diving into the wild world of animals!  From swimmers and fliers to four-legged friends and even the creepy crawlers, you’ll learn about and interact
with all kinds of amazing creatures!

Field trips: Denver Zoo, Wild Animal Sanctuary, Bellevue Park Petting Zoo and Train, Lilly Gulch Park

Sports & Fitness

Get ready, set, go! This week at camp, we’re putting our physical strength and fitness to the test! What better way to get our blood pumping than through exciting sports, fun field trips, awesome activities, and friendly
competitions. Let’s make this week one to remember!

Under
the Sea

Get ready for an unforgettable week at summer camp! We’re about to dive into the amazing BIG BLUE – the ocean – and discover all the incredible creatures that call it home. It’s going to be a week full of adventure and fun!

Clement Splash Pad, Carmody Park and Rec. Center

Cooking and Young Chefs

This week, we’re putting our cooking skills to the test and becoming little chefs with fun food projects that teach teamwork! We’ll also enjoy some exciting field trips to take breaks and have even more fun!

Western Week

Put your cowboy boots and hats on and join us for a week in the Wild, Wild West!

Back to School

Wow, can you believe it’s that time of year again? What an amazing summer it’s been—reconnecting with old friends and making new ones! This week, we’re sending the kiddos off in style with a Back-to-School Party, fun activities, and our final summer field trips!
