Three's

3 – 4 Years

  • Your 3-year-old is stepping into a new world of friendships, sharing, and taking turns—social skills become a big part of their day.
  • At this age, we begin to focus more on fine motor skills as children are ready to safely explore smaller materials (and yes, we still keep a very close eye on them!).
  • Our 3’s proudly begin tackling the basics of writing, at their own pace and in playful ways.
  • Their days are full of language, activity, and movement. Storytime includes drama and action, and children are encouraged to notice, question, participate, and truly engage in their own learning experiences.
  • Throughout the year, they enjoy a rich classroom curriculum, including discovering the “big kid” preschool playground and occasional local field trips.
  • Children take part in engaging table-top activities using manipulatives, creating patterns, completing puzzles, and building hand strength and coordination. Through a multi-sensory, hands-on pre-writing program, they also start exploring early math concepts through:
  1. Block building
  2. Sorting and matching
  3. Sand and water play
  4. Simple games
